Our First Wedding

This past weekend we had our first wedding at Pleasant Valley Farm and Vineyard. As with any weddings there were a few speed bumps along the way, but once it came time, the wedding came together beautifully! In large part because the bride is AMAZING and had done mostly everything herself. All the signs were DIY.  She is a wedding photographer too (check her out here to see her amazing work)! Can I just say again, how great this couple was to work with and we are so grateful they took a chance with us as being our very first wedding. 

The weather proved to be a challenge the day of the event. Luckily, we were able to buy a tent last minute that matches the roof of our barn. We had white string lights that were also able to light up the tent. We also have outdoor heaters, which we will be renting along with the tent to future couples that want them.

Indoors we have string lights that hang from the rafters creating a soft light. it created perfect mood lighting for dancing and very romantic! The bride selected her own table settings and linens were provided by Dream Linens. You can check them out here!

The Bride and Groom made an amazing backdrop and gave it to us! This is something we can offer for other couples for a rustic outdoor look (the Bride added rugs too that really completed the look!).

The barn never felt more romantic than it did on Saturday with the beautiful arrangements from Goldner Walsh.

The dessert table was straight up dessert goals! The table was provided by us, but the rest was all the bride. Dessert were provided by Woodland Bakery ( their apple fritters are the BEST!).

 Congrats to the Krusen's. You were a DREAM to work with and we wish you a lifetime of happiness!

It will always be a learning curve. But we're ready for more weddings! We still have availability in 2018 and can even start booking 2019 weddings!
